Microsoft isn't going to "fix" this.. It's by design...
It's how they get so many page hits that are used to justify the site's existence to Nadella.. Were they to stop the logout redirects to MSN.com, they would lose the 400 million hits per day Hotmail users generate for them when they log out.
MSN is clearly someone's sacred puppy at Microsoft and it's the worst asset the company owns considering the tabloid style and useless content that lacks any resemblance of integrity. The real solution won't come until that individual either quits the company or gets fired. I suspect they're a Ballmer hire.
MSN.com ruins the reputation of Microsoft.
