How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

Microsoft isn't going to "fix" this..    It's by design...

It's how they get so many page hits that are used to justify the site's existence to Nadella..  Were they to stop the logout redirects to MSN.com, they would lose the 400 million hits per day Hotmail users generate for them when they log out.

MSN is clearly someone's sacred puppy at Microsoft and it's the worst asset the company owns considering the tabloid style and useless content that lacks any resemblance of integrity.  The real solution won't come until that individual either quits the company or gets fired.   I suspect they're a Ballmer hire.  

MSN.com ruins the reputation of Microsoft.

The end address can be customized for Microsoft websites and services.  So you can change it to "account.live.com" to take you to the sign in page for Account Settings, "account.xbox.com" for XBOX Account Settings, "products.office.com" for the Office webpage, "onedrive.live.com" for OneDrive, and so on.

So you can bookmark this URL for a customized log out page for Microsoft Services.

Also stop directing from Outlook to MSN EVERY freaking time we log out, multiple accounts makes this a pain, it cracks peoples skulls right on open.

It's not the programmers.. It's the Sales, Marketing, and Advertising folks who drive this tabloid content and shove it in the faces of innocent victims.    Nadella just nixed 1200 more of them so hopefully this group will have much less influence on Microsoft's products and services going forward..   Nothing they've ever done has been productive for the company or their customers.  They screw up everything they touch or have influence with.
