MSN email account doesn't exist??

I used to have an MSN email account, now it's saying it doesn't exist! What happened to it?

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forums. I'm glad to assist you with your issue on your MSN email account.

    When was the last time you accessed your account? If it is more than 1 year, it is possible that it was marked as inactive.

    Please be informed that Microsoft accounts become inactive if you don't sign in for more than 365 days or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account. After an account becomes inactive, all messages, folders, and contacts are deleted. Incoming messages will be sent back to the sender as undeliverable.

    Kindly provide the affected email address here so we can investigate your account.

    Note: Please make sure that your email address is in the correct format so our system can mask your email address to prevent others from seeing your email address.

    I am having the same problem. I recently setup my new Windows 8 PC and I entered my msn email account info somewhere during the initial setup. Now I have an Outlook account that is listed as an "alias?" When I open up Outlook it shows my old msn account on the left side of the screen but it doesn't show any emails and I am now unable to login to that account at all. I tried to email my msn account from another email address and it came back. 

    How can I get my msn account reinstated?

    I am having the same problem too. It has been a long time I didn't use this email but kinda need it urgently now.
