i want to remove the ad sidebar in windows outlook email

Totally Agree. Old Hotmail was heaps better and much faster. A lot easier to view as well. Outlook ads on the right of screen suck big time.

Bring back a choice to have old hotmail.

I also hate this side bar of ads.  Why are these techies trying to destroy the Hotmail experience.  I wish they had better things to do with their time.  Some of us just wanna send emails, etc. 

WHy is it that sometimes I sign into Hotmail and it looks normal and another time I sign in and the TO: goes all the way across the screen, then you have to drop down and the subject goes all the way across.

It is really user unfriendly.

I am really getting disgusted with all of these email companies.  If a simplier, straight forward email came out - at this point I think I would sign up in a second.

The sidebar ads absolutely SUCK. 

I have had this email address for 15+ years.  I WILL give it up to get rid of a feature that limits the useability of this account.

I have a large monitor and still can't find a good split that allows both the (required???) screens AND this stupid sidebar.

I also find it annoying that I had to sign up for THIS service just to comment on this stupid "upgrade".

Shows how amazing this side bar works when I didn't even realise that they were adverts it was showing me.  Thought it was just different links to other parts of Outlook that i didn't use.  Like most people I will NEVER click on ads like this, that are significantly over intrusive. So not only are they a waste of space time and money they are just detrimental to the success of a company like Microsoft as people will move to different e-mail accounts.  I access my e-mails on my net book and now most of the time approximately 20% of my screen is the email I want to read and the rest of the screen is taken up with ridiculously large writing or things I will never click on.  I wanted to cry the day that my hotmail changed over to Outlook.  I was like going from a good e-mail system to going to one that a 3 year old had designed.  I think that it makes a laughing stock of Microsoft when I can actually see more of an email when I access it on my phone than I can when I access it on a computer.
