When I sign into my account I cannot see my inbox.

I get the Microsoft account page containing the Overview, Notifications etc, but cannot see any way to access my emails.

Same problem here.... Having had the same email account for over 15 years I think its time to move on and find a provider that doesnt make it virtually impossible to accesss your account.

Thanks Microsoft... another example of a great idea ruined.

    Hi Sylvia,

I understand your frustration with regards to being unable to access your emails. Let me assist you with your concern.

Please be informed that Policy bar is a prompt/interrupt that detects customers that have not verified any  security proofs (i.e. alternate email address and/or mobile phone) in the account within the last 6 months. The interrupt is experienced upon sign in.

Customers will be given an option to skip this process for 7 days but if customer failed to verify the account after this period, they will be locked out from accessing  the account. The customer is required to comply and verify it by updating the  security information on the account. For more information why do you need to add security information, you may visit this **link**.

The nature of your issue may contain personal or sensitive information of your account that can't be  discussed in the forum, I suggest that this be addressed through a secured  environment for your privacy and ease of access to our moderator's reply. Please go to this **link** to get help on your issue.
