Why Does Outlook automatically log me in without my email address and password?

Hi there,

Why does Outlook automatically log me into my Email without me having to type my email address or password?  When I turn my computer on, I go to my Desktop and click on the Outlook icon to open up my email.  It is logging me into that email without me even having to enter my password information, and quite frankly, I find this very unsettling. This means that anyone who uses my computer once it is turned on, can access my email without my permission. How can I correct this so Outlook asks me to enter my email address and password each time I want to log into my email?  Thanks.

    NOTE THIS ENTRY: JohnAlbert33's reply on 1/7 chrystalizes what started this thread in the first place. The thread has ventured way off-subject. The question was...."Is there anyway to change the credentials  so it won't automatically log in?"

    I do have a strong pass word.

    And yes I don't like the "single experience".

    Actually I don't like 8 at all but it came on my new computer.

    I hope 9 will be better than 8 but I would guess not.

    And I don't use my real name.

    Also I do understand that you are just giving your opinion.

    And I am just giving my opinion also.

    Thanks, but I still don't like the new set up that 8 has.

    Actually the more I use it the less I like it.

    I'm just giving my opinion.

    How is it insecure if every person has his or her own account with a strong password?

    Perhaps you don't want a single experience, but that's what you have.

    You don't have to use your real name for your PC/Microsoft account.

    Lets see if I got this right.

    You are saying that MS designed it this way?

    So actually you have to try to work around this?

    I just don't see how this is secure at all.

    If I can access it this way, so can anyone else.

    I guess I don't get it.

    I guess I don't want a "single experience".

    So I guess I am SOL here along with the other people here that don't either.

    I fail to see how this enhances a users security.

    Having my name plastered across all these MS apps is not to me anyway,  my idea of security.

    Good thing I don't use my real name on here.

    How do you change that?In windows 7,,you click on outlook.com,type in your username and password and thats it,,everyone has their own e-mail,same thing,the difference is windows 8,you have to go through all this garbage,it can be changed,microsoft says they can change it but it will cost you money to do so,do you believe that,paying for privacy..
