Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com

I would try unlinking then relinking Gmail. If that doesn't help you probably are going to need to contact Google.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.
Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?
Is the problem some config in microsoft account security?
Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

I have. I did two-step on both accounts a little while back and it did seem to go away. On January 27 though, I got three emails.
Haven't had any since but the timing did coincide I believe with when I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview on my Surface Pro 3, which would've had me messing around with the Mail app's accounts.
While two-step authentication did seem to help, I've always had a coincidence of getting the email around the rare times I mess around with the Mail metro app. I'm just speculating though. It'd be nice if someone actually looked into this.
Has anyone had the Reconnect to Google emails come back after doing two-step verification? I couldn't stop these emails for months... Disconnect, reconnect... OK for a while... boom... Reconnect to Google.
HOWEVER, once I set up two-step verification on Google's end ,and I'd actually enabled it for Microsoft's accounts as well after my long-established (and weak) password was compromised, I have not received the email and my Google account remains connected.
I use the Microsoft authenticator app on my Windows Phone. SMS got to be too annoying. Google also has one. Oddly enough, if you use the Microsoft authenticator with a Google account, you need to set Google to use the Google authenticator app. It will still work. Obviously the Google app is available for Android devices as well as iOS.
Hi _thalamus,
Good day!

Thanks.
Having worked with GMail's OAuth before, I don't think this is going to be on Google's side. I, too, am having the same issue, and every time it's asking for "Offline Access", which leads me to believe that Microsoft is not properly handling the OAuth token given to them by Google.
