MacOS "Another account from your organisation is already signed in on this device"

I have an Office 365 subscription through my work, after recently updating Office, every time I now open Word, Excel or PowerPoint, I am prompted to sign in and activate the product. When I try to, I get this error “Another account from your organisation is already signed in on this device".

I have tried multiple suggestions as follow :

My Office apps are all up to date and I am running macOS Monterey Version 12.6.

Excel for Mac version is 16.68.

Thank you for your support.

[Moved from Subscription, account, billing/For Business/Accounts, groups management, and sign in]

EDIT : upgrading to macOS Ventura (13.0.1) didn't solve the issue

This is what worked for me as well - logged in user showed immediately after deleting keychain microsoft/office keys then opening word and could then see the user that was incorrectly logged in.
