Just a big thumbs down all around. I use(d) the search in Outlook on an hourly basis if not more. Now it is literally adding time to my workday.
Hi there it is possible to paste in the bar by pressing ctrl+V :)
Exactly. Baffling how something so obvious got overlooked by the developers. Hopefully, they'll get enough complaints and fix it.
Some workarounds:
Best solution, as you stated is to move it to the right side or something of that nature where the drop down doesn't interfere with anything else.
Why in the world would they move it so far away from where you need it? Okay, they improved their ability to search. Great! However why did you move its location? Just because? Honestly, doesn't MS have a Users' Experience Team to tell them what the UI should look like?
At the bare minimum, please give us the option to put the bar where it belongs. I guarantee 90%+ will revert it back.
DUMB!
