Outlook search bar moved to the title!?

Has anyone seen this before. Any advise on how to move back to default position?

please change it to were it was please. this is uncomfortable the way it is now. put search were it was before, i dont want it on top.

Read through this thread. there is instructions posted on how to revert it back and keep it from updating again. It is only a workaround but it will at least get the search bar back where you want it.

yes i do. It is insane that anyone thinks these constant useless updates are something we want or need

Last evening I was searching for some emails in the spot where the outlook search has been for how many years? outlook started acting up and what do you know? i was getting another unwanted updated pushed down to me while in the middle of doing work. Outlook restarts and i find the search bar up at where the application name used to be. Who on earth thought this was a good idea or like so many things that seem to get changed in outlook for no apparent reason other than just to change it. Outlook had been more or less the same for the last 19 years until this office 365 nonsense, outlook liek the rest of the office 365 desktop apps are slower than the prior versions (even on new equipment and a fast internet connection).

I just can't understand who on earth is coming up with this stupid unnecessary changes . First it was changing the look of the tool / riboon to thhe current horrific childish GIANT buttons and just on and on.../
