Outlook search bar moved to the title!?

thanks, rollback did the trick for me, not optimal but at least the search bar is back in place

Um no.  I just looked and the damn thing reverted to the search bar being on top.  

So much for mercy.  When does MS ever show mercy?

I cannot see "coming soon".  outlook.exe /cleanviews fixed this--search bar is back to the same place.

My custom views are gone.  Oh well.

I agree with the other posters here--Microsoft: I know "you don't care, you don't have to care", but please, don't move the search bar for Outlook O365 to the top.  It's a UX nightmare; it's too far away from what I am working on. 

Have mercy on us, we poor blighters who have to use your software.  You can be cruel, or show mercy.

Must have been hard working at Microsoft:

Toiling away for years, working, moving up to finally lead a team to update outlook and leave your legacy. You work extra hours, meetings after meetings, and finally it comes to you, "Let's move the search bar to the title!"

Despite your team's moans and groans, you pat yourself on the back thinking, "Gosh darn it, Toby or Debbie (seems right), you've done it!" You go home, pop the champagne and light the cigar, and you pop down in your chair thinking back at your long career. You've done, your the "search-bar genius".

You stroll in the office monday morning, everyone is avoiding eye contact for they've already read the forums. You, doing the Spiderman-venom-mcguire dance/strut, unaware of the fallout. Then when you get to your desk, look in your computer to find the backlash have already piled up. Frantic, you try to find something to save you. You open desk drawers, your file folders, your messages, your meeting notes... nothing. So you go to look in your past emails and.... 

you can't find the search bar!!!  

I suspect Toby or Debbie worked in the Windows 8 Metro team.

Please move the search bar back were it belongs.
