Has there been an update to the dimensions of the teams backgrounds? March 13, 2025

We are trying to upload 1920 x 1080 custom backgrounds and we are getting an error message saying invalid size. Testing other sizes, anything square 1:1 works but gets cropped in the viewer. We also tried 1280 x 800, but same gets cropped. There isn't mention of this update in any of the update logs. What is the correct size, is there a template to follow to know what gets cropped?

    I am Version 25060.203.3471.5023 (25060.203.3471.5023). I have tried running auto-update. What can I do to force a new version? I have also uninstalled and re-downloaded Teams.

    What version are you on? This was fixed on both windows and mac with the latest releases!

    Hi, I reduced my image today to 1600 width and that seemed to work. Not ideal, but at least I have something for now.

    My Teams just had an update available, and the issue is now corrected for me on versions:

    Mac: 25072.1704.3539.4369

    PC: 25072.1609.3541.7814
