We are trying to upload 1920 x 1080 custom backgrounds and we are getting an error message saying invalid size. Testing other sizes, anything square 1:1 works but gets cropped in the viewer. We also tried 1280 x 800, but same gets cropped. There isn't mention of this update in any of the update logs. What is the correct size, is there a template to follow to know what gets cropped?

Where is this please and has anyone else had any further progress as we are still struggling to get a good enough quality background uploaded despite using the parameters mentioned in thread?
We are on Version: 25060.205.3499.6849.
Looks like this has been fixed; at least I managed to add our standard background, that did not upload earlier.
I have Microsoft Teams version 25072.1609.3541.7814.
Last week I had 1 user report she resolved the issue via Start > Apps > Installed Apps > Microsoft Teams > Advanced > reset.
Another user later reported they resolved the issue by resizing the image to 90% of its original size (below the 1800 x 1800 size threshold, I presume).
So it looks like there may be multiple work arounds.
lol.. hopefully it is not like the OneDrive sync issue at the beginning of the year where they said the same thing... then 3 updates later it was still broken! I don't understand why they can't just create a service health issue when they know an issue is occuring! It is impossible to explain these issues to users that insist on seeing official documentation that there is a known issue.
I don't see anything in Service Health or Message Center today.
I'm starting to have more users report this issue and as you said it would be great to see an advisory or something.
Does anybody else see anything? It's possible I'm overlooking it.
