    Same here, when you click on the 'Register the new Teams as the chat app for Microsoft 365' we receive an additional 'pop up' stating

    'Your Internet Security setting prevented one or more files from being opened' The file is c:\windows\system32\reg.exe.

    By the way, none of my other colleagues can check this option.

    same here... also switched from the classic teams version to the new one.

    when switching back to classic, unchecking the register button and then switching back again to newteams and check the register button there doesn't work... :/

    same here... can't register Teams as the chat app in Outlook after updating Teams to the "New" version. (23257.2620.2442.7817)
