Hi,

Would like Microsoft to respond.

When ending a scheduled teams call, the Jabra headset does not disconnect. Have to issue a test call every time to release it. This does not happen on Zoom call. Happening with many others. see other string.

Why the Teams client keeps using the microphone after calls are finished? is it evesdropping? - Microsoft Q&A

Teams 1.6.00.376.

I have the same issue and having multiple users reporting this issue. We are on Microsoft Teams version 1.6.00.376 (64-bit).

Jabra models (which are all up to date - both headset and dongles):

    Jabra Engage 75

    Jabra Evolve 65

    Jabra Evolve2 65

Temp workaround is to go into Teams settings > Devices and the do a test call > leave the phone call and the presence should reset.

Jabra recommended to open a ticket with Microsoft. Thier response was:

"The problem seems to correlate with an MS Teams challenge we've been having recently.  An update seems to have caused Teams to stop sending call ending signals to our headsets, resulting in "phantom calls" staying open which stop functionality to other devices.

As a temporary workaround while Microsoft works on a Teams Update, please try the following:

    • Open MS Teams and enter the Settings menu
    • Go to Devices
    • Make a test call
    • During the test call, click End Call
    • Test the device after this to see if functionality is back to normal

If this resolves the issue, use this as a short term fix while awaiting Microsoft's update.  We also strongly suggest opening a ticket with Microsoft."

It seems that 100's of people have reported this issue with MS Teams not disconnecting the headset successfully from group calls. There are duplicate threads. A bug report was submitted here:

    https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/214e3535-86a0-ed11-a81b-000d3a0450e3

In another thread, it seems that Microsoft may be planning to release a fix:

    2/6/2023

"Our product group has identified the root cause of the issue and a fix has then been rolled out. The fix will hit the general ring end of this month or early next month. The fix is for all headsets."

    Good morning,

    same problem with a Jabra evolution2 85

At the end of the meeting, if I make a call and quickly hang up, everything stops

Test call (echo) also works to end connection with Jabra

This is very annoying, please fix it!!!
