Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

    I have heard nothing, and of course they make it impossible to reach a human. Microsoft has gotten so much better over recent years, but it's persistent issues like this that MS refuses to acknowledge or address that gives you flashbacks of the old MS. I have found the best remedy to uninstall Teams and use Zoom and Webex. No issues with those...

    Do we know that Microsoft is genuinely acknowledging and attempting to fix this issue?

    The exact same thing is happening with Teams for me.

    I had an awful experience as I’m a student counsellor and had my first placement with a client and it was horrendous. Completely threw me and knocked my confidence, neither myself or my client could focus, I’ve never felt so let down.

    Never had problems on zoom but was using teams since I already pay for it.

    So disappointed. I need to have this fixed before my next session and I’m extremely nervous now.

    Same issue, jittery/nauseating flicker. Started with the December update. This is really frustrating and been going on for over a month - has Microsoft responded to anyone with a solution?

    I've noticed, on my Mac, that if I use the built in camera (not a USB one), and have the teams window on the Mac screen (not an extended display), that the juddering is reduced greatly.

    Anybody else experiencing the same?

    I’m running a 4k external and a 1440 external display; the 1440 definitely works better with this glitching within Teams video. Its still there, just not as pronounced as my main display. I was starting to think it was a refresh rate issue with my 4k display. But obviously not...

    Just tried a meeting using Teams within Chrome and its fine, no glitching. App is still glitching despite drawing runes and sacrificing a bag of potato chips to the god of bug fixing.

    As others have said it started back in mid December, Running a 2020 MBP 13” (4 thunderbolt ports) Monterey 12.6.2. Mac based colleagues are also experiencing this glitching within meetings.
