Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings. I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service. I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.
Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams. People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them. I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.
Thanks.

Hi Shawn,
This was over a year ago, has there been any progress?
I know that many others have posted the same frustration on this thread, but as a teacher during this corona-chaos, I must echo them.
Airpods are extraordinarily popular, as Teams is now becoming, so how can this issue not have been addressed by now, given that it was reported in 2019? I am getting ready to go live with my kids, and it looks like I am relegated to my laptop mic and speaker. So lame...
Occasionally, I can get the Airpods to work with Teams by messing with the device settings repeatedly, but even if I can, it is unstable. More often than not, however, I have to give up and just listen on my laptop. The bad part is that the internal microphone sounds like an internal microphone, whereas the Airpod's sounds perfect...but the audio doesn't work through the buds, so...
If I am connected to my laptop, I should be able to seamlessly connect through Teams without touching a thing. This seems elementary, so I imagine the only reason that the issue is not being addressed is that Microsoft does not want to bend to Apple's proprietary nature in any way...while the rest of us deal it. Am I right?
I can get my AirPods Pros working with teams for both speaker and mic if I have them connected, on, and chosen as the audio before starting Teams. I have to restart each time I connect them, but they work.
This also works for me, just adding in to anyone else seeing this problem. If I connect airpods to my computer first, have them in my ears and on, and then open teams they work fine. If teams is open in the background when I put my headphones in they do not work.
