Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls
Michael - check your download folder - the 0.9 zip file may still be there

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Teams for my school. I am using EOS Webcam Utility (NOT Beta) with my Canon EOS 80D. It was working perfectly with video calls for school up until about two weeks ago. Now, whenever I turn on my camera in a video call (and the video setting is EOS Webcam), my Teams crashes and I get an error saying, "There was a glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please sign in again."
In my school, there is an expectation that my camera is on, and my computer's webcam is unusable, so I really need this fixed, and quickly.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
Kane

I had to search online for a site that provided a mirror of the beta driver as I no longer had the installer. (risky, but it seems OK) This fixed the issue for me in Teams, thanks BigPapaSmurf.
I suspect this just broke Discord, which is why I upgraded to 1.1. Not that I use it that often for video, but this doesn't seem like a long term fix. The strange thing is that Teams seemed to work fine with 1.1 all day yesterday.
Dell Latitude 2 in one 5290 16,0 GB Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Build 19042.630.
Removed and reinstaljed both, Canon EOS Webcam 1.1 and Teams.
No good.
Hi Kane,
May I know what device and operating systems do you have? I will provide you specific folder path and location based on your input.
You could try to reinstall the app and see if that fixes the issue.
Please note that MS teams do some tests to ensure that the device is supported, not all USB devices are supported by Teams, so if you use any non-supported devices, you may experience some issues. So, Microsoft has worked with manufacturers and certified some products to give a seamless experience.

Thanks, Evan! If we can't get the desktop issue fixed, I'll switch to that.
