Hello all, as per the title description it was allw orking fine until latest days. When I share my full desktop in teams, other people sees a black screen, but sharing a single application works.

I've tried with the web app and it works fine, it's the local installation that is not working.

I've already tried to reinstall Teams and cleared all the cache but issue persist.

Anyone can help me out? it's driving me nuts

Thanks

Carlo

You are a life saver maestroperfecto

I modified the steps a bit, but your idea helped me fix my issue.

I think the ultimate cause of this is my laptop has two GPUs (integrated and dedicated) and I RDP into my work laptop from from personal PC

Open "Graphics Settings" under "Choose an app to set preference" select "Desktop App" then "Browse"

Find the Teams App, File location should be "C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\Update.exe"

Set the graphics preference to the dedicated GPU or "High Performance"

Tested and confirmed I was able to share my entire desktop on a teams call

Edit: I would also like to add that I did set teams to always run as an admin (so it could be a combo of the graphics settings and running as admin)

Updated to Windows 10 1909 and now a lot of our users are having an issue when sharing their desktop via Teams.

Sharing an app or browser is fine, but the desktop goes to a black screen and all you can see is the mouse.

We've also checked the Teams Admin policies to confirm Entire Screen if selected.

Anyone else experiencing this?  Two Dell 1080p monitors on a lenovo gen 2 usb-c docking station w/ lenovo laptops.

Hi we have the same issue. It happens if you had a Zoom meeting before. Then you need to restart everything.
