Chats not refreshing / showing latest messages in microsoft teams

For some reason all of a sudden I cannot see any new messages in the chat during class on my laptop. The messages appear on my mobile but they arnt coming in the chat on my PC. Please help me the chat is very vital for my classes

Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

    We are seeing the same issue for everybody in our company on both macOS and Windows. Sometimes it works but mostly it does not. To see new messages we have to switch back and forth between the different channels as this seems to force update the content.

    Mobile and browser always works.

    It's really unbelievable that Microsoft is not able to fix this issue. We are planing to switch to another communication platform.

    Deleting the library files helps, but the issue comes back after a time. Therefore I wrote a litte script for it. Might be helpful to some of you. Feel free to use it: https://github.com/HenningBertsch/ms-teams-fix
