I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera.
The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

Same issue here. Teams update this morning now crashes when I activate my Canon EOS DSLR camera. It worked fine all last week when I set it up and configured it. Win 10 Camera app works fine, so does Zoom meetings. Teams crashes with a "There was a glitch" error.
right. but strangly it doesnt update to the latest for now! i have still 1.3.00.15561 .
no idea why it doesnt update...
it is not possible to prevent teams from uipdating automatically...
I was able to uninstall Teams and re-install 1.3.00.15561 version of Teams in the end, and that solved the problem.
I can't believe this issue hasn't been solved yet. I'm using Logitech C920 and when I turn on my webcam Teams just crashes and re-starts saying that there is a glitch and it is now "ready to go". Which it clearly isn't. I'm also on a Uni computer so I don't have permissions to uninstall and reinstall the older version.
And Microsoft wonder why people don't update their software, if it works don't fix it (with your spyware/adware/tracking software - "Update camera app from windows store" - yeah right *cough cough*).
Btw found that I could still use the Webcam for sound, so I can still have Teams meetings with the sound off, just don't turn on the video or it will crash. But it really is a joke!
