MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    I had the same issue with the most actual version from november 1.3.00.24758.

    i tried all recommended tips in this chat, nothin helped (reinstalled teams several times with deleting all folders/files etc, checking windows, disk drivers, reinstalled camera driver etc).

    funnywise with skype all the time no issue with the same camera

    camera app doesnt still cant detect the camera

    en/disabling GPU support no effect

    only solution for me: rolling back to last 64 bit version: 1.3.00.15561 (64 bits)

    now it works like a charm ... lets see ...

    Until MS Teams  will auto update...

    Hi Everyone, I think I found the solution. Try going to the settings in Teams, and checking the following setting under General:

    "Disable GPU hardware acceleration (requires restarting Teams)"

    Worked for me, when reverting to an older version didn't.

    Hi I've tried it but didn't help...

    It is pretty frustrating....

    I will try to convince our head office to just switch to different app.

    Today we started getting similar issue with MS Teams.  I use a Canon EOS M6 Mark 2 with the EOS Webcam software (current version as of writing this).  Everything still worked fine on Zoom. 

    I sometimes use OBS for our Zoom meetings, but had not wanted to OBS for Teams.  However, we needed a quick fix and as soon as I started the Virtual Camera within OBS and changed the Teams webcam from "EOS Webcam" to "OBS Virtual Camera" - it worked.  That being said (and it may be a red-herring), I needed to uninstall/reinstall the EOS Webcam software so that Teams would allow me to change cameras before it crashed out with the glitch message.

    I'm going to check my recent updates from MS, Nvidia - but at least it's working now.
