Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Works! I can't believe it! The Setting is in Teams.

Been using Teams since the start of lockdown with a headset. As of today I am getting a double-beep at about five second intervals (like a hold beep) in the headset when I am muted. This has not happened before and been using same headset for months.
Also note that when I mute / unmute in Teams, the headset now announces "mute on" and "mute off" to me.
This feels like a Teams update has created this "feature" - please turn it off!

I recently found this reddit post and it works for me on Win10 - still only a workaround but I think it shows the crux of the problem
I emailed Shokz, they replied quickly and sent a USB adapter which resolved the issue for me. Awesome customer support along with product, but highly frustrating MS couldn't address via the software.
Same Issue with mute beeping. I believe I have it fixed now. I contacted AfterShokz directly and they are aware of this problem. They have an adapter called "AfterShokz Loop100 USB-A Bluetooth Adapter" that I just got mailed to me. I installed this morning and after a test chat on MS Teams it seems to have fixed the problem.
I can confirm having the same issue while using Sennheiser 458BT headphones.
This never happened before and I've been using these headphones for almost two years now...so definitely something that Microsoft introduced/changed
during the latest update.
I did not use to hear any feedback sounds when switching the MIC on/off from the MS teams app, but I noticed that the beeping issue started (at least for me) around the same time I started to hear this on/off feedback.
Completely agree with people who say that this makes headphones un-usable for any meetings on MS-Teams and am not sure about one of the comments I read above about not using Microsoft Teams certified headphones??? should I go to the Microsoft store and get myself a pair of XBOX headphones because quite a big number of headsets from known brands don't work well with Microsoft teams????
Microsoft fix the issue you created and please do not blame other parties!
