Hi,
I recenlty got a new controller and went ahead and updated the controller firmware through the XBOX accessories app, after the update however the controller is not recognised as Xbox one controller in Bluetooth mode rather as Bluetooth LE Xinput device.
The issue that concerns me is, that FIFA only allows genuine controllers, and since in Bluetooth mode it is not recognised as genuine the FIFA is not supporting the controller.
I have manually tried changing the driver for this device from device manager but it is not working. I want to know if there is a patch that can fix my controller
identification issues ??

Ok got a fix, well kind of if you are using steam. In steam go to view\setting\controller\general controller settings. In general controller settings you will notice that xbox configuration support is probably turned off, turn this on. Once it is turn on the controller should start working normally like a xbox controller. This work for me in FF14.
Guys, i have a solution. I figured out that it was the controller firmware update that screwed things up, so what you wanna do is
1.- Install xbox accesories from the microsoft store
2.-go to file explorer
3.-click on "this pc"
4.-click above where it says -this pc-
5.- paste in the following command: xboxaccessories:\firmwareupdate?legacyDowngrade=true
That will allow you to roll back the firmware from your pc! Just make sure the controller is connected with usb

Well this is quite interesting. I have the Series X/S controller. Initially it worked well. All of a sudden the vibration stops. Xbox game bar shows the battery is critical while Bluetooth shows 100 percent battery,
In game controllers i notice the controller shows up as razer xbox 360 controller.......i do have a huntsman analog keyboard. i wonder if this is affecting the controllers for some reason. I uninstalled the razer software but i also see the LE Xinput compitable input device.....
My ps5 controller has stopped vibrating on pc now also. it worked great in fifa and forza horizon 5 but now vibration is off completely.
I fail to see how microsoft can get this so horribly wrong
Every time I do this, it just rolls back to Bluetooth LE XINPUT compatible input device once I restart.
I even went into System > Advanced System Settings and disabled automatic driver installation. Still automatically set it up as LE XINPUT.
This is official Microsoft Hardware, this is a joke. The generic third party controllers I bought prior to this all detected as XBOX ONE WIRELESS CONTROLLERS just fine.

Your solution does not work, as soon as I update the driver manually from device manager, I am prompted to restart the computer.
Once the restart is complete the driver goes back to what it was.
Is there a patch or new driver that support newer xbox conrollers ???
Need help ASAP!
