So im having a issue with my mouse cursor lagging/stuttering for a few seconds randomly does not happen a lot but it does happen and only lasts for a few seconds so far not been watching a video ir playing a game when it happens so cant see if other tasks continue as normal when it happens
Updated graphics card drivers and checked windows update & it says no updates available.
I have the following hardware on my PC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 TI
Motherboard:
Base board manufacturer: HP
Baseboard Product 8876
Baseboard Version 11
BIOS Version/Date: AMI F,11, 27/08/2021
Is anyone else getting this issues when i first got the PC over a month ago there were no issues its the last week or so this has started happening

I have the same issues with mouse lag/stutter keyboard lock and in addition I have my windows fan or disk drive spin up every time this is occurring.
The machine is dead quiet until I get the lag.
I have tried all of the above and will continue to monitor the problem, but this has been going on for months since I upgraded to Windows 11.
I can only imagine what will happen when we hit the magic Windows 13.

Thank you for your suggestion. The bluetooth Microsoft Mouse 4000 that I am using works fine on my other machine. It's not a mouse issue, I assure you. The entire systems is hanging whenever it writes files to a drive. I have tried the mouse dongle in different ports, no change. I have updated all of the drivers for my mouse, video card, etc. Also, I doubt that it's an application issue, since it happens across all applications, including Windows Explorer.
Surely, someone knows how to tell this machine to not allocate all of its resources to creating, copying, or moving files!
Why don't you just try a different OS now or check it outside of Windows? If it goes back to working fine outside of Windows 11 then its related to Windows 11.
But, applications should be coded to not block the UI thread. Eg, networking isn't supposed to block, delay, or otherwise mess with the UI. This is good programming. If an application does it then they hired a bucket head to do the work or the code they used doesn't work very well lol. Of course, I can point to various software around that does block the UI thread so there are devs who do this stupid thing. But, that's one application, not all or multiple of your daily bunch.
Thanks for your response. I am running an SSD as drive C and a spindle for D.
That said when I took my mouse apart I found a substanial amount of debris in and around the left button switch. I used some compressed air and alcohol to clean it. It has been fine for a couple of weeks now.
I have both an SSD as my main (C:) drive, and HDD drives. Happens no matter which drive it is writing to. I had this same problem with a Windows 10 machine that I bought last fall, and I returned it after the manufacturer was unable to find a solution, so I don't think it's a problem unique to Windows 11. My 3 year old machine works like a dream, and I can't figure out where the difference lies . . .
