When I go to the "remove pin", the button is grayed out. I contacted HP tech support & they said that's a software issue. I was able to turn it off in Win 10, but when I rec'd my new laptop that was supposed to have Win 10 installed, it turned out to be Win 11. Anyone have a fix?

    Hello Paloma,

I have similar situation. I just get a new computer with Win 11 21H2 installed (OEM). I want to use only my Windows Account password, no PIN, no face recgonition, but the login still asking me to create a face "Hello, and if I choose to skip it, Win 11 ask me to create a PIN, so I close that window and I can finilly login, but on next login, everthing comes back.

I try what you propose above, but I couldn't find the item 4 - "Require Windows Hello Sign In for Microsoft Accounts"

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,

    Guy

If thieves steal my PC then it means that I will be dead so it won't matter. It is stupid that we are treated like little children. It's my life, my computer and should be my option. I am going to investigate a way to do away with Microsoft all together or find a go around the system option.
