When I go to the "remove pin", the button is grayed out. I contacted HP tech support & they said that's a software issue. I was able to turn it off in Win 10, but when I rec'd my new laptop that was supposed to have Win 10 installed, it turned out to be Win 11. Anyone have a fix?

I disabled it, as have many others who have written here.

Perhaps the person means in a network environment where an administrator controls the option.

Suggested updates (per instruction step number)

    1. with the font used by microsoft answers it is impossible to know if the character after Windows+ is an i or an l. Using lowercase "i" would be helpful.
    2. instead of "Input Options" on the left it is "Sign-in Options" on the right.
    3. now "PIN (Windows Hello)"

I am sorry, but I see no "option account". What am I supposed to select from those documents, pictures, etc. that comes up when pressing Windows/1 button?
