Audio stopped working after upgrading win11 to 22H2

Hi,

My audio is not working after upgrading to 22H2. My computer is an ASUS less than one year old. I have tried to reinstall the Realtek driver without solving the problem.

Looking in the devicemanager the Realtek driver has this error after each time I have reinstalled the driver:

Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_104313B2&REV_1000\5&205ca6cb&0&0001 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem88.inf

Is there any ideas of what I can try to get this working again?

    dear Mark,

    after having read all the previous solutions I can ad a complete different one. having two computers with Realtek and W.10, I regular had problems with sound. mostly it effected in combination with a conflict of my virusscanner and the computer locked.

    after the restart all functioned well. also after often used the sleepfuntion the audio gave disturbances. and it all was in W.10. for many years. it gave me the impression that this audio is in itself malfunctioning.

    at the end I uninstalled the virusscanner and hoped with W.11 that all should become "perfect". what a disaster it became with no sound!

    now I wrote Acer to come with a solution and am waiting for their answer. what will they say/do? they are the manufacturer of the laptop and a part of their product is not working...

    Thanks, recent posters. The audio issue is long since resolved, but the sudden shutdown issue is persisting, with no apparent rhyme or reason to when it happens or doesn't. Often it happens several times in a 2-3 hour (planned) session while I'm browsing FB or other media. When I restart, my internet (wi-fi) connections don't load, so I have to restart a second time. Updating drivers (for which I use Driver Booster) has helped some maybe, but not completely. I still prop up the rear for ventilation, but that seems to make little or no difference.

    dear Sir,

    I wonder where you get so many downloads of the Realtek audio? when I check the Realtek-website the last option was in 2017 and furtheron I see no option.

    I have version 6.0.1.8519 installed on 21-08-18 in my Acer laptop and when I ask for an update the answer is that this is the latest version. if I count your oversight I see more than 10 versions.

    please let me know.
