Audio stopped working after upgrading win11 to 22H2

Hi,

My audio is not working after upgrading to 22H2. My computer is an ASUS less than one year old. I have tried to reinstall the Realtek driver without solving the problem.

Looking in the devicemanager the Realtek driver has this error after each time I have reinstalled the driver:

Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_104313B2&REV_1000\5&205ca6cb&0&0001 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem88.inf

Class Guid: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Service: IntcAzAudAddService

Lower Filters: 

Upper Filters: 

Problem: 0x0

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

Is there any ideas of what I can try to get this working again?

    Hallo, this is my solution:

    1. Right click on sound icon
    2. Click on Sound settings
    3. Bottom: Additionals sound settings
    4. Click on default audio output (in my case Realtek Audio) - click on properties button
    5. Click on properties ...

    1. Update driver:

    ImageImage

    1. Try to find new driver in PC (not automatically)

    and you can install Microsoft audio driver:

    RESTART.

    Done.

    Sorry to be so long in replying. Eventually I reinstalled Win 11, which restored the audio but caused several blue screen crashes. Finally, I took the PC into the retailer where I bought it (I have a service plan). They installed an additional SSD that effectively separates my apps and data. That has resolved the audio issue - but then the PC started shutting down cold for no apparent reason! I wondered if that might be overheating, so I propped up the rear of it to see if that keeps the vent underneath open.

    i just installed the realtek drivers and reboot but windows reboot installed the generic driver again (stucked in looped). So i just uninstalled the generic driver and selected the checkbox for delete the drivers from system. Then ok to uninstall and installed the realtek drivers and then reboot. It works now.

    Exactly, thokra1. I've managed to get some decent sound using FxSound, but the absence of sound through the speakers (OK in W10) continues to baffle. I notice that (in Audacity) MS Sound Mapper is now a default following an upgrade - and was the only thing that enabled Audacity to work again.
