My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

I am having the exact same issue. I've tried setting different settings and run the sfc /scannow to no luck. It boots fine via the PowerButton but will not start via the keyboard and mouse. To add to that the keyboard and mouse clearly switch on, they light up. But it does not wake. I've also tried turning off Hibernate mode to see if that fix but it does not.

I have not updated KB5022360 yet will reply if that resolves the issue.

I am having the same problem in Windows 10 with both the wired mouse and keyboard.

In addition sometimes the monitor will come on, but the mouse and keyboard still don't work.

I checked in Device Manager that both the mouse and keyboard are allowed to wake the computer. I also checked that drivers for both are up to date.

    Help!!!!

Yesterday I changed my times to go into sleep mode, today when I tried to wake it up, I was unable.

With black screen I was unable to get into anything on my computer. Long hold on power button didn't work to turn it off. Tried Crtl +Alt + Delete, Tried Window button + Ctrl + Shift + B, the most recent above: Press Windows + R and type devmgmt.msc - . This didn't work either. I finally disconnected my power cord & reinserted it and was able to have it shut down & the able to restart & log on. I have now reset my computer to not go to sleep to try & save power, will just shut it down in future.
