Has anyone had any luck getting the modes and routine option to work and unlock their phone so that they don't need to have the phone on them to unlock the screen and use Link to windows? (Or any other unlocking options?) Thanks
New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC
I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

2023-03-29T23:31:57+00:00 Hi Alexander,
Are you still having luck getting this to unlock with routines?Mine worked when I first did it but now the routines are still set up and it won't unlock my phone again!
Am I missing something?
Occasionally if I have used my phone recently and 5 or so minutes later connect it to the PC and open Link to Windows the routine kicks in.
Thanks

2023-03-20T17:47:49+00:00 additional info:
windows 11 configuration:
Phone Link version is 1.22102.202.0, as newer versions wouldn't display the 'swipe unlock' BEFORE recent samsung update. with samsung's latest update, 'swipe unlock' is impossible even with this windows version.
samsung s22ultra phone configuration:
would only unlock with 'blind entry' of the PIN on the black display screen.
'link to windows service' shows 'app downloaded from galaxy store', version 2.6.03.1, & has no option to uninstall (only 'force stop' and 'disable')
'link to windows' shows 'app downloaded from google play store', version 1.23012.43.0, & has options only to 'open', 'disable', & 'force stop'.
wondering if there's some kind of disagreement between the s22 'link' service & app...
would be interesting if i could find a way to uninstall one or both of the samsung app & link, then get install them from same source or use version previous to the android 13 or oneUI updates.

2023-03-20T11:08:18+00:00 phonelink on phone is causing the problem not phonelink on windows. so, as long as phonelink for android is not updated, you won't get "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." message.
