Windows update 10/12/2022 broke my PC totally!

I noticed last night before I went to bed that I had the option to update and restart my PC which meant there was something in Windows that needed an update. Ok...sure. I selected that option, watched the system prepare and download the update, and went to bed.

This morning I go into my office and my PC won't even boot! I initially get to the Windows loading screen....nothing but the spinning dots for 30 minutes. So I hold the power button down, let it reset...same result. I reboot again, try to go into Safe Mode....nothing at all. Black screen. So I thought "Great! I have to reinstall Windows and restore my last system image (which was this Sunday thankfully)." So I get out my Windows USB install stick, set my PC to start from there, get the prompt to install 32 or 64 bit Windows, select 64 bit, get the loading install files message...

Nothing! Doesn't load at all!

I've tried to get into Safe Mode, took out all my RAM and reseated them, only installed 1 stick at a time (out of four I had installed), unplugged and reseated the PSU cables to EVERYTHING...not one single thing is working! I use my computer for work, and right now all I have is a $3500 paperweight! I've now spent HOURS in Google University trying to find the magic bullet that will fix this, and nothing is working!

    MS continues to mess with my computer. Apparently it's ready to upgrade to Windows 11. Really! My computer couldn't deal with the disastrous upgrades in recent months. No way will I upgrade this computer to Windows 11, it wasn't built with that prospect. 'Future Proof' is a myth. If we knew what future technology was going to be....

    Now I'm getting a message about Intel® Rapid Storage Technology and Intel® Optane™ Memory Application and an At Risk SMART event! I didn't even know it existed on my computer! And when I looked for information at Intel.com the app 'Will No Longer Be Updated (End-of-Life Notice)'

    'In compliance with Microsoft new Universal Windows Platform (UWP)*, Intel has stopped bundling the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology applications with the Intel® RST drivers.

    UWP requires that all driver-dependent applications be made available only through the Microsoft Store.'

    As I read it Microsoft is already preparing my computer in the background for Windows 11 and the Intel app is telling me: 'An impending error condition was detected on an internal or external disk and is now at risk of failure.'

    Looks like a shopping trip to the computer store!

    I`ve had the same issues, and to some extent, it was worst, as the startup process was freezing for me and I was not even able to attempt to re-install Windows.
    What resolved my issue, was to flush out the BIOS and update it to the latest available release.
    After that, Windows was able to load without even having to repair it.

    I noticed that on all Windows startup attempts, my system was not able to recognise the keyboard/mouse and any other I/O connected to the PC. As it turned out my BIOS had some security enhancements that were not present in the old firmware. I suspect that after the Windows update my system was unable to properly communicate and run my hardware during the startup process. Windows was probably expecting some feedback from my BIOS which it was unable to provide with the old firmware.

    Same issue as you. Disabled fast boot and rolled back (for the second time) and had some luck, been trying to find a way to install the update without issues but no solution yet.

    I had 6 restore points and windows corrupted them all best corse of action is to wipe and reinstall windows sadly
