Someone ever follow up on these SCAM RISKS??  Bad rap for Geek Squad though.

Indian - not Geronimo though - accents are a dead giveaway.  Number has

Florida listed as the state of origin.

I did receive the same email as all of you have.  I did freak out too..   The email was in my spam box dated June 24.  I caught the email today (Sunday Jun 27th)

!.  I never ordered it

2.  They (the idiots) didn't have my bank acct number or routing number and the email came from a gmail account.  
3.  The call back number is a cell phone number.
4.  and finally I checked my back account for the dollar amount that they mentioned and there no withdrawal.

a special note was at the bottom.  " you have 12 hours to refund this charge from the date of the transaction without being charged."

I was only smart to catch this because of the SMART FOLKS like you.  Thank you everybody for your post it help old people like myself from falling into a trap .  THANK YOU!!!

I likewise received a scam email regarding a 1 year subscription to Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Firewall & Network Protection. The 1 year subscription was $499.00 with a $100.00 discount for a total price of $399.00. There was also instruction to contact Microsoft at 1 (877) 710-4698 and speak with a customer care representative if this was an unauthorized purchase. Imagine that.

Just got the same thing today called those crumbs up definitely out of the country

My inclination is to just ignore/delete/block this message, but....they say they've charged my card.  Bogus?  Or do I need to do something proactive?
