Why can I not access Microsoft's support? Access denied?

I am trying to contact Microsoft to deal with an account they decided to lock out. And I cannot reach the support website. I just get the following error when I navigate to the website Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://support.microsoft.com/" on this server. Reference #18.a49a3b17.1700526724.806d502

The phone support just tells me to go to this website that doesn't work. How can I deal with this if I cannot access the support page?

    Hi Jen,

I am also having the same issue.

You don't have permission to access "http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact?" on this server.

I was trying to contact support in reference of an issue I am having with receiving 1-2 emails about someone requesting an access code every other day. It became tiresome, so I wanted to ask your support to please block the person who keeps requesting one of two of emails so frequently. But it turned out that after trying to log in support page I instantly got rerouted to access denied and now I am completely blocked.

    Best Regards,

    Marta

    Hi Marta,

I managed to contact support and chat with a technician thanks to Hawkward_PDX's technique, changing "office" to the service you're interested in, of course::

    1. Click this link https://support.microsoft.com
    2. Type "Office Technical Support", then click "Get Help". (Wait until it loads up the options)
    3. Scroll down the click, "Sign in to contact support", which requires you to sign in to your Microsoft account or select Contact Support" if you're already logged in.
    4. Choose "Microsoft 365 and Office" -> "Technical Support" -> "Confirm".
    5. Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you're having the same problem I'm having (emails retrieving accounts that aren't yours), it's probably due to a technical problem that Microsoft is currently experiencing. So there's nothing to worry about, they're working on it.

I'd still advise you to try contacting them to make sure your account isn't compromised, and to change your password.

Everyone responding with links that just lead to more "access denied" pages.

Website was fine yesterday and now it's all access denied. No help anywhere.
