Why can I not access Microsoft's support? Access denied?

I am trying to contact Microsoft to deal with an account they decided to lock out. And I cannot reach the support website. I just get the following error when I navigate to the website Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://support.microsoft.com/" on this server. Reference #18.a49a3b17.1700526724.806d502

The phone support just tells me to go to this website that doesn't work. How can I deal with this if I cannot access the support page?

What's the point of Microsoft support if you can't access them?? This seems to be an ongoing issue from what I see in the threads I've read. I spent over 3000$ on a laptop that keeps giving me the following:

2024-06 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5039302)

    Install error - 0x800f0991

This issue has been going on for 4 days now and I've tried some of the fixes recommended BUT most are above my pay grade and I don't feel comfortable going any further. I wish laptops came with the OS fully installed without the need for major updates because idiots like myself wouldn't worry so much about using the new technologies. I don't want to reinstall and then uninstall my Nortons 360 ad nauseum because I'm worried that doing that will make things worse.

Nothing that can be done by them until next week at this point, I'm assuming, because it's July 4th and they are probably closed until Monday. Another 4-5 days that I can't get assignments done or submitted... Yay... Not... Should have kept my failing laptop running instead of jumping into the deep end of the pool with ankle weights and this brand new AI unit... Lesson learned (but too late).

Okay... I just spent the last couple of days messaging back and forth with the MS365 Twitter account. They finally sent me a link and step by step instructions on how to get through to someone. After an hour of chatting we got it squared away. Let me see if I can enter the information here correctly...

In the message they say to click a link but I'll try entering it here. If the link doesn't work I'll see if I can find a better way to share it. The interaction is on my personal and this is my work.

    1. Click this link https://support.microsoft.com
    2. Type "Office Technical Support", then click "Get Help". (Wait until it loads up the options)
    3. Scroll down the click, "Sign in to contact support", which requires you to sign in to your Microsoft account or select Contact Support" if you're already logged in.
    4. Choose "Microsoft 365 and Office" -> "Technical Support" -> "Confirm".
    5. Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

Same here. I talked now with XBOX CS two times, who said to me that they will provide me with an answer in two weeks. This was at the start of April and now it's June without any word. Now I can't get into any support. And can't access my main email.

    Good job, Microsoft.

You don't have permission to access "http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/livechatwidget?" on this server.
