I am being flooded with metadata errors.

Extremely frustrating Microsoft as keep crashing MSFS so it is virtually unusable.

I've had my updates on pause until today at 5:30 PM EST. And at 5:37 PM this event started to flood event viewer after installing KB5034763, and KB5001716. So now I have to figure which update caused this. Had to do a system restore, but no more errors. So please tell us how this is a hardware issue. It is service stack update causing the issue. Most likely KB5034122.

Disable the automatic restart when Windows crashes. Then you will get the blue screen with the error codes on it that can help you research what is causing your machine to crash.

This issue with Microsoft's Metadata Staging servers being down since November isn't causing our 17,000+ Windows machines to crash. Just was taking 3-5 minutes to add a printer. Now that has been mitigated somewhat by the Feb 13, 2024 patch.

Turn off auto-restarting after BSOD so that you can see the information that points to the problem that you are having.

1. Open the Advanced System Settings menu. The easiest way to get there is by searching for "View advanced system settings" and clicking the icon which appears. You can also get there via the Settings->System->About->Advanced System Settings.

2. Click Settingsunder "Start Up and Recovery" on the Advanced tab.

3. Uncheck Automatic Restart.
