Im not a fan of how "absent" microsoft seems to be with these posts. What if someone tried hitting the "reporting abuse" button to try and get SOMEONE just to look at how many people are experiencing this ongoing issue - myself included.

The latest Windows Updates states that:

"This update addresses an issue that affects the download of device metadata. Downloads from the Windows Metadata and Internet Services (WMIS) over HTTPS are now more secure."

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/february-13-2024-kb5034763-os-builds-19044-4046-and-19045-4046-f1c993e4-32b3-4cc8-947a-69e70ae124d5

Maybe that will also fix the issue...

I have the same problem since(I believe) I re-installed Windows 10 and then added my Brothers Laser Printer. I also added the Brothers software suite, and maybe that had something to do with causing this?

They do need to fix this fast!! I have other errors, but they get swept down the list with this stupid bug every 3-5 seconds!!

And I also complained about this in the Feedback Hub.
