GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

I have seen posts and replies on this issue.

• I am having the issues on my Epson ET-5850 printer. It prints "Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1:1 Host: localhost" every time the printer connects.
• I am using Microsoft 11 Pro. (SHOULD NOT HAVE UPGRADED!!!)
• I am connected via USB. I was connected via wireless and worked great with Microsoft 10, but after Microsoft 11 upgrade, the wireless option won't work and USB is the only way to print.
• I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and drivers.
• I have uninstalled the fax and scanner modules and then reinstalled...

Microsoft, its has to be YOUR problem and related to Microsoft 11... It looks to be happening with every printer connected to Microsoft 11 via USB.

Have you installed the full feature software from Epson for your model and followed the promts to connect your printer?

Its not an MS or win problem, its a user problem with an incorrect installation of their third party hardware.

By default win 11 does not update drivers

I have both Epson and HP printers running with no issues on both win11 & win10, wireless & usb

Actually, it is a Microsoft Windows 11 issue. If you would have bothered to research forums, including Microsoft forums you would see that it's happening to many different kinds of printers, all on Win 11 and most with USB cables plugged in.

In the future, before posting a response to a question, you may want to do your research first.

I have a Brother MFC-L37500CDW multi-function printer/scanner. Was working fine. Upgraded to Windows 11 and now whenever it wakes up from sleeping, it prints a 2-line page saying:

Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1

Host: Localhost

Uninstalled Printer, reinstalled -- no change

Updated printer firmware -- no change

Switched USB cable to another USB port -- no change

From what I have seen on multiple forums, this is happening with multiple printers and multiple brands. The only constant is they are all connected via USB and all started happening when upgraded to Windows 11.

I have the same problem happening with my Epson ET 3750, however I notice one difference, This does not happen when my computer comes out of sleep mode, it only happens after I connect to the internet. It then prints Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1:1 Host: localhost" at the top of a page. The print job doesn't finish, but continues to click waiting for the print finish instructions. Is there any way to send someone the "bill" for the cost of paper, ink and time????

I can provide two steps for you to follow to put your computer to sleep mode again, and wake it up and see if it will print again (we recommend repeating this twice to make sure it is completely gone)

1. Win+R and type services.msc, find "print spooler" in the list of services, right click on it - properties, set the startup type to "Automatic", then click OK to close it.
2. WIN + S search control panel, open the device and printer, select printer properties - device settings - installable options, disable the "printer status notification", for different brands of printers and driver versions of this portal interface may be different.

if you can not find the portal, you need to contact the manufacturer of the brand to obtain the portal, only need to follow up to confirm that you can find Just make sure that you can find the "Printer Status Notification" function and disable it.
