which printers are compatible with Surface pro 11

Eventually Microsoft told me "not many printers" are supported on Surface Pro 11. I run a business & have to be able to print so had to buy a second device Surface Pro 10 as neither MS nor dealer (I live in Thailand) would take back a 24 hour old device. Shabby treatment & ridiculous device.

Epson has now said it will release drivers for ARM laptops. It has a release schedule on its website for it different printers.

As a first step, it has released a Universal Print Driver for ARM which works well for me:

Add Epson printers to your list as well

I assume that you have the most up to date version of Windows 11, but maybe not. My printer issues were finally solved after running a Windows 11 update - see my comment on this above. I tried many different solutions, and it was only after this update that the printer problem just simply went away. Perhaps just coincidental, but I think not.

It is amazing to read the many reviews praising the Surface Pro 11 and none seem to adequately address the many issues the Snapdragon ARM processor will cause; a few do say there are some potential issues. But having major printer incompatibilities surely should not be ignored.

In that case, you will need to contact HP to see if they provide drivers that are compatible with an ARM processor, some printer companies do not create drivers for and ARM processor, but only their support will know what drivers they provide.
