Hello, after updating win 11 23H2 to 24H2 several "computers" are disappeared under the "network"pane in windows explorer.
The day before updating, all computers were attached to my network and visible in windows file explorer.
After update to 24H2 they were gone!
I did see that after updating the option for media streaming were turned off.
I put The media streaming option on again, but that was not the solution.

Thanks for input but yes, I've tried all that plus what's been suggested in this and other similar threads on this website and the wider Internet. Note that I had no problem accessing my Conceptronic NAS drives for years under various previous versions of Windows until this recent Windows 11 24H2 update. Clearly, something has been broken by Microsoft and needs to be fixed.
I did a simple change. Instead of wasting time on all these permutations and combinations, I just clicked on 'Go back to previous build' in Restore and went back to Windows 23 H2. Anyways Windows 11 is a useless OS. Fedup of using this OS. If it gives more issues I prefer going back to Windows 10.
The exact same thig happened to me on Windows 11. HOLLY ****. WHO IN THE **** IS TESTING THINGS AT MICROSOFT THAT THEY WOULD DO A MAJOR RELEASE THAT TOTALLY BREAKS USERS' CONNECTIONS TO THE INTERNET?

They also totally messed up my email (Outlook on Thunderbird). Recent "improvements" mean that this no longer works without me getting down and dirty with various help sites...

Ive reverted to 23H2 which at least resolve this issue.. And wont make a move until 25H2 arrives. If that doesnt work then perhaps the time has come to say farewell to Micro$oft!
Given the large number of people reporting the problem on this Microsoft Community website, as well as the wider Internet, I would hope the Microsoft Windows development Team are actively addressing the issue. Hopefully a fix will come out as a discrete patch for existing Windows 11 24H2 installations or be rolled into a new version of update 24H2. Until then I will continue to block update 24H2.
Meanwhile, I believe there should be an official Microsoft statement acknowledging the reported problem and confirming that they are pursuing a suitable fix.
