Anyway to not update to 24H2 but still get security updates?

I just rolled-back from the 24H2 update for a very good reason:

The synchronisation connector GWSMO between Outlook and Googla Apps (email, calendar, contacts) does not work after the 24H2 causing a lot of problems for many users.

Outlook does not restart any more and the connector for a new Outlook profile does not work.

I rolled back last night after nearly two days of hassle and all work again.

I only found one post on this by an IT company having a lot of clients with this issue and as neither Google nor Microsoft make any comments on this there is not other solution than to roll-back!

If you want to roll-back it needs to be done within 10 days after the update!!

Well, it's in the news now (https://www.windowslatest.com/2025/01/17/microsoft-begins-auto-updating-pcs-to-windows-11-24h2-forced-download-phase/) including suggestions on how to defer the update. I don't think I need to submit a feedback for this.

The green stuff is your security updates.

Feature updates like 24h2 (the red stuff) will ALWAYS be under a separate button which you have to individually press to download and install.

Why do you need to pause your updates? As long as you don't press the red stuff, then you don't update to 24h2, period.

How do you suggest I do this when the red box in your screenshot no longer appears in the settings? I have the "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" disabled yet the 24H2 update automatically downloaded and installed itself in the background and only notified me for restart after the fact. It's a good thing I caught it before it restarted itself. I paused the updates for now which also deleted the downloaded updates but I still want to receive the updates for 23H2.

Microsoft expanded the roll out yesterday despite the bugs. I'd rather not gamble my PC for those bugs. I use my PC for gaming and work. I don't want to deal with all the incompatibility issues 24H2 has with some games until it's verified that these issues are fixed.

Well this is 100% wrong. It installed over the weekend on my pc.

So I just put that in cmd while running as admin or? Also could you make a command for when I want to remove them when the issues get fixed or if I plan on updating anyway?
