Thanks, Phillip. This was kicking my rear for a while. This solution worked.
We upgraded to 24H2 and now our SCR3310 card reader is no longer recognized and we now cannot log in with our CAC card. Is there a fix?

We upgraded to 24H2 and now our SCR3310 card reader is no longer recognized and we now cannot log in with our CAC card. Is there a fix?
We downloaded latest drivers, removed and reinstalled the driver, tried different USB ports. It shows up as working properly in Device Mgr but that's it. The light won't come on, it ignores the reader. Help.

2025-04-01T21:21:27+00:00 We are having the same problem with our SCR3310v2 readers after the update to Win11 24H2, we installed the latest drivers from SMC, then applied the registry fix from JHTN and this fixed our issues.

2025-03-18T19:58:27+00:00 My new Lenovo IdeaPad with Snapdragon XPlus (ARM) still won't recognize my smartcard even after following these instructions. Keeps saying can't find certificate, even though I went through and got the new cert from my IT dept. Looking in device manager, it says "Unknown smartcard".
