I am running Win 10 Pro 64bit version 1909. I used Control Panel, System and Security, Backup and Restore (Windows 7) to create a system repair disc. That worked fine, no error messages, until I went to use it. I tried to boot my pc from the CD drive where the repair disc was inserted but got an error message, non system disc or words to that effect. I had done this previously with Win7 without any problem. Any thoughts as to why the same process is not working in Win10?

The sad thing is that build 2004 has been getting tested as an Insider Preview for about a year to debug it, and it still has these problems..
I have personally been running it and it's predecessors from August 2019 up until May 2020 sometime, when I switched to the later previews starting at something like 19624...
According to Microsoft's lifecycle fact sheet, the end of service date for Win10 version 2004 is 12/14/21. Regardless of when the next release comes out, I won't be in any hurry to upgrade until a sufficient amount of time has elapsed to allow for the exterminators to get the bugs out.

That build 2004 has been a bit buggy for some people, even to the point that Microsoft blocked it's installation through Windows Update for certain hardware..
I am running it on two different machines and have noticed nothing unusual... Yet..
They are a bit older though.. The 2004 issues may effect newer machines more..
Sometimes even the process of "Rolling Back" can generate problems.. Hopefully things remain stable for you.. Maybe try the 2009, or whatever the next build will be..
I may have been a bit premature by announcing that my computer was back to normal with Win10 version 2004. Everything seemed okay until I discovered that the system icons (WiFi networks, Speaker Volume, Battery, Calendar, Action Center) that appear in the lower right corner of the screen weren't working. I would click on them but they wouldn't do anything. My thought was what else can possibly go wrong by upgrading Win10 from version 1909 to 2004? I made the decision to rollback to version 1909, which I knew was good, and apply Windows Updates to bring the operating system up to speed. My computer now looks like what I would expect it to look and behave like. There's never a dull moment when you make a major upgrade. Microsoft may have the best of intentions by rolling out new and improved features but in so doing fixes some things and breaks others. Thus, the necessity for periodic software updates.
