My elderly DCP195C has been working fine with my Windows 10S until today, Thu 11 June 2020.  Windows did a large update yesterday or day before.  Now the printer will not work  }:-(   Tried looking at settings but nothing seems to solve the problem.  Anyone any suggestions please?

    Well, Rhaine did a good job explaining but if you the number of posts this subject has had; I think MicroSoft should be shamed of what it causes due to incomplete Q&A

    I gave up and restoring my soundcard whihc is also a remnant of this 'great Update'!!!

    Well, printing problems solved.

    Now for the rest, maybe the next one will disable the HardDisk ;)

    I have the exam problem since the update, really bad timing, the week I am publishing my thesis,

    The printed now moved to 'unspecified' device

    Locteau,

    If you have an iphone [and maybe android has a similar app] you can download the "Brother Print and Scan" app, email any doc to yourself, pick it up on your phone and print it using the Brother app.

    HI, I'm no expert but for version 1809 you might go to the following links;

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=cumulatieve%20update%20windows%2010%20version%201809

    I think this download could do the trick... (kb4567513 for version 1809)
