Windows 10S Brother printer DCP-195C will not work

My elderly DCP195C has been working fine with my Windows 10S until today, Thu 11 June 2020.  Windows did a large update yesterday or day before.  Now the printer will not work  }:-(   Tried looking at settings but nothing seems to solve the problem.  Anyone any suggestions please?

    Hi, had the same problem (my system  windows 10 home x64, version 1903, build 18362.900), there is a fix, go to https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4567512 and install this update from microsoft, problem solved !

    (of corse it is save to  install the latest driver from the Brother platform )

    Yeah!!! this update finally did the job. My Brother MPC-J410W is back to full function.

    I downloaded and installed the KB4567512 update appropriate for my system [Win 10 1903 x64]

    Desde España pasa lo mismo.

    Hace unos días, desde mediados de junio que mi impresora BROTHER DCP-195C no imprime, pero sí copia y sí escanea.

    A ver si SOLUCIONA WINDOWS el problema porque de momento hemos tenido que quitar la actualización y paralizar las actualizaciones.

    Espero que nos informen de cuando han solucionado el problema para poder actualizar de nuevo windows. De momento lo tenemos paralizado.

    Thanks ...

    I have Windows10 'Home' (v2004)and the KB:45557957 was installed - removing the KB resolved the issues for me.

    I still see the event for my DCP-195C printer... (seen in device manager)

    Device USBPRINT\BrotherDCP-195C\8&d77f818&0&USB001 requires further installation.

    However it prints ..  so thank again for the help.

    Yes- Ive disabled future updates until the limit it will allow - will revisit and see the lay of the land in a few weeks time.
