Win 10 Build 2004 issue with Realtek audio

I upgraded my PC to build 2004. I found my realtek audio is not working at all. HDMI audio was working. But my speakers were not working. I reverted to my old build 1909 and audio started working. Is there any bug in build 2004? When will that get resolved?

    I have a Razer Blade Pro 17 (Early 2020) running Windows 10 2004.

    My laptop panel microphone using Realtek Audio quit working. I attempted to follow Razer documentation to get it working again and then I lost sound from the laptop speakers as well.  I performed a system restore to a restore point from a week ago, but still after the 2004 update. Audio and the microphone began working again.

    I've been using the system most of the day and hit the Microsoft Store.  I had 6 applications that had updates. They installed really quickly (no visible download), and then my microphone stopped working again.  Tried to recover to a manual restore point following the restoration where everything was working again, and still no microphone. No packages installed drivers as per Windows logs.

    There is definitely something wrong with 2004 and Realtek Audio. The valid drivers are supposed to be delivered via Windows Update, but that hasn't been the answer.

    In these days of Covid-19 and remote work, video conferencing is more important than ever.  Please fix ASAP!

    For my Gigabyte motherboard, that is the latest driver available in Gigabyte side. Can you help me get the updated one?

    I think updated driver should be installed with MS update for Win10. Seems that is not included in 2004 build.

    Hi,

    I tried again today to upgrade to Build 2004. Same issue. Speakers are not working. Still the realtek drivers are matching with the build. Feel helpless here.

    what kind of computer are you using, SabyasachiBose?  run either Dxdiag.exe or MSInfo32.exe from the Run dialog box to gather details about your computer (esp. make & model)

    Audio through HDMI uses a separate driver which is usually not Realtek related and the HDMI driver may come with the graphics driver package.

    try obtaining an updated Realtek audio driver from either the PC manufacturer's support site or from this MS Update Catalog link.
