How to fix the "That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method" screen.

i have same problem here, i try make new account for activate my new windows and register my device, i try fill phone number(my region phone code +62), but when i try next step, only show warning "We dont support that country code. Add an email instead.", after i try many times, it still have the same warning, and skip this step. after 4-5 hour, i try login again, my account was suspended, even i dont break the term of use or whatever your rules.

I try login, until request phone number step. And again ! when i fill phone number, it did not work, just show ***"TRY ANOTHER VERIFICATION METHOD, That verification method isnt working right now....."***etc. I read another post, mostly have some problem, suddenly suspended and cannot verify with phone number. even i try your solution, it still did not work ! Any another solution for my problem ?

I finally got mine to work (support were not helpful and I never heard back from the escalation team).

Only thing you can do is wait 7 days without trying to set up a phone number. Then the block will lift.

I was trying to get my phone number off my old account that my brother was using, but every time I try to add my phone number its keep saying "That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method", and the tab says "Blocked", and at first I thought my account was block [for Some reason], but I could still sign in, Then i tryed to refresh a few times. but that also didnt work, and the thing is I can put the phone number, back on the other account, but not on the other one i'm trying to get it on.
