After installing this update on my bootcamp’d late 2017 27” iMac it has COMPLETELY ruined my installation.

It boots to a black screen with the blue windows logo, and the spinning circle.

It then shows a black screen with the spinning circle, the circle then freezes and crashes, triggering a restart.

It has crashed so many times in succession it triggers repair mode, through which I “uninstalled the most recent quality update” - the issue persists and had to perform a system restore to fix it.

During this covid crisis I cannot believe microsoft could be so callous as to push out an update that has essentially bricked my device. While I am thankful its a mac and can still boot into OSX I require Windows so as to connect to my office.

I have top-tier hardware and windows is “supposed” to be able to be installed on anything. This is pathetic.

After installing this update my headphones suddenly don't pass sound and when i use the Nvida High Definition Audio the sound plays through my speakers... I tried 3 times to uninstall and reinstall the Realtek drivers, but nothing happens, just the headphones with no sound. I even tried to revert windows updates, but that too didn't work... Hope someone knows what to do when this happens.

i have repeatedly not been able to install this update (KB4556799) and (KB4552931) with the following error for both updates:

    "Failed to install on 2020-05-13 - 0x80070003"

I have tried a clean boot, and nothing has worked so far.  My system is fully up to date with the exception of these two updates that keep failing.

    How can this be fixed?
