sudden;ly lost all my taskbar pins

I cannot overstate how much of a disaster this update has been for me. I can't access my network connection settings, programs like Adobe Illustrator won't launch at all, items continue to run in the background after I close them, and on and on and on... I can't even access the settings that would let me roll the update back! I'm working remotely and to have basic functions on my laptop (a Windows Surface Book no less) inaccessible is entirely unacceptable. I've been happy with my laptop until this but the level of incompetence to screw up to this degree has me reconsidering whether I'd want to put all of my computer work at risk of your negligence. And, based on what I'm seeing from other Windows users, it doesn't even sound like I got the worst of it... I genuinely can't understand how a software company of your size could release an update this bad during a global pandemic when everyone is working digitally and already extremely stressed. What are you guys doing over there?!?! Get it together!!!!!

Hi All, All of a sudden, my microphone is not working. i can hear audio from my headset but cannot talk, the computer don't even recognize mic. Thank you, Malik

My computer automatically updated to this version and ALL of my computer files were deleted. I am not sure how to recover them and I don't want to make the problem worse. HELP PLEASE!!!
