Ethernet unplugged - > not connected/cable unplugged

Like the title says, it says ethernet unidentified and then unplugged all within 2 seconds and it keeps happening again, and again, I can fix this by going to adapter properties then qos packet scheduler - > configure - > advanced and change speed & duplex to 10mbps half or full. However when I do this it remains constant unidentified network and I cannot access the Internet. Was most likely after an update and I have no system restore and uninstalling the update tells me undoing changes. Please help. Thanks.  PS after I do the qos packet scheduler thing and use the troubleshooter it says ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration. I've watched tens of hundreds of videos to fix this problem yet it remains unfixed. Please help thank you.

    Thanks for updating us. As I told you on 9/21 the cable unplugged message is almost always a hardware problem.  (I added the 'almost' in case there's some rare exception, but in decades I've never seen a non hardware cause.)

    Fixed it, it was the ethernet cable all along. Replaced it and it works fine

    Open Start, type: system information

    Hit Enter

    Click System summary

    Look in the right pane

    If its custom built, what is the make and model of the motherboard?

    You might want to try resetting the BIOS defaults.

    Try resetting your BIOS defaults:

    If that does not work and you have a desktop computer...

    Power down

    Unplug it

    Open the system unit

    Remove the CMOS CR-2032 chip

    Plug it in, start the machine, wait 10 seconds

    Power down, unplug it, reinstall the CMOS CR-2032 chip

    Plug it in again, power up

    Try to repair your internet connection.

    Click Start and type "cmd".

    • Right click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
    • Copy and paste the following line one at a time, pressing enter each time:

    netsh winsock reset - and press Enter.

    netsh int ip reset - and press Enter.

    ipconfig / release - and press Enter.

    ipconfig / renew - and press Enter.

    ipconfig / flushdns - and press Enter

    You can also try to reset your DNS service with the following steps:

    • Press the Windows key + R and type "services.msc" and press OK.
    • Scroll down to find the DNS client.
    • Right click on it and click Restart.

    You can also follow these steps: from the Start menu or by pressing the Win + I key combination, open the Settings and click on the Network and Internet option. Once there, we select the Status option from the menu on the left side and, within the configurations and options that are loaded in the right panel, we have to look for the restoration of the network.

    When you click on this option, it will show us a new window from where we can restore the network in Windows 10. In this way, all network adapters will be removed and reinstalled, and the original configuration of other network components will be restored . net. This implies that if we were using some software such as a VPN client or virtual switches, we will have to reinstall them.
