2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,
randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) ,
screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode
and then i have to turn it on again
this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build
what do i do ?

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies
Basically,
Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery
Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in
I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

Hey, I am facing the same issue since 2004 update. The Laptop showed "locking" and went to sleep mode while i was working on a project in Adobe Premier Pro.
I found the same problem. it was fine a week ago until I turned it on today. it keeps sending locking messages even when I am still using my laptop.

Hi Ashley -
In your case I'd contact the manufacturer's Support under the included one year warranty covering support, repair and replacement. They must either fix it or replace it. Don't let them try to sell you up, the basic warranty is the law.
Keep us posted on what you find out.
My laptop is brand new. Not even a month old. It is doing this all the time since update. Blue screen says Locking then it appears to hybernate. When i click power button it goes to login screen and all the websites and games are still up and running. This is so frustrating. I have tried every step in your original post.
